iBook G4 Trackpad not working after fresh install
Please include a detailed description of the problem you’re encountering, how to reproduce it, the relevant version numbers iScroll2, OS Xthe PowerBook or iBook model you’re biook and anything else that might be related to the issue you’re reporting.

I can kind of see what they’re going for Looks like a trip back to the store, which is an authorized Apple reseller and thankfully they have a good repair department. I figured that it was no big deal and that I could get tracipad cheap PowerBook for the cost of fixing the trackpad. As should be obvious from the version numbers, iScroll2 is still in its early stages of development, and thus likely contains bugs.

Models that are known not to be supported include all G3 and Titanium PowerBooks, the very first 12″ PowerBook model, all G3 iBooks, and all newer machines that come with two-finger-scrolling built-in: Cancel Tracklad your order status. I have tried them all. Alan D adds “The touchpad button on my new 15” PB is very stiff and awkward to use. I started to take the PowerBook apart to do the repair. Some users are attributing this issue to static interference — a scenario for which we are seeking confirmation. Since I reinstalled Tiger trckpad I first got it, I wondered if the necessary drivers to operate it were omitted, seeing as a trackpad was not detected.
Scratches possible, but no heavy wear or dents. Once running with a system in the computer, and all connections double checked twice, you may see if a power management reset could force the trackpad to be ‘seen’.
